Social Photowalks for Wellbeing in Northern Devon
I deliver bespoke photowalks for small groups of up to 6 people in North Devon. Good quality cameras are provided.
Walking and photography go hand in hand with mindfulness and wellbeing in nature. Walking with a camera gives you the opportunity and time to pause your thoughts, focus and calm your mind. My walks are gentle with light touch photography facilitation rather than technical photography classes. Coming to one of my open photowalk groups is an easy, low stress way to make new friends and connections without the awkward 'entering a room of strangers' which indoor events might present.
Below are some photographs taken by photowalkers on the Sony DSLR and Bridge cameras I provided. This was a walk in August 2022 from Sandhills car park in Instow, along the coastal path to the site of the old power station in Yelland and back along the Tarka Trail.
Get in touch for more information or if you are a local organisation interested in funding a photowalk project. Prices begin at £150 for a group walk.

Thank you for an amazing afternoon. Having a camera meant that I saw so much more than if I was just walking and talking. It made me stop and look at my surroundings and gave me time to relax and think about my connection with the world.
