North Devon Biosphere Tourism Photography Commission 2024 2025
I was commissioned by North Devon's UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Torridge District Council and North Devon Council to capture images of people, places and events across the district council regions during Winter and Spring 2024/2025. The resulting images have created a photo library for the use of local tourism businesses.
To keep my carbon footprint low, I travelled mostly by bus, bike and foot. In total I covered 1,897 miles, 298 of which were walked. I have watched the seasons change, discovered hidden gems in the landscapes, met so many interesting people and had conversations with friendly robins who seemed to accompany me everywhere.
